JMT Resources is an industrial contractor out of Saraland, Alabama. We started with a simple observation: on most industrial projects, the hard part is not any single trade. It is the handoffs.

A machine arrives before its foundation has cured. The fabricator's platform does not match the field condition. The civil contractor demobilized last week and the pad is two inches off. Every one of those is a schedule problem that started as a coordination problem.

So we built a company that self-performs across the seams. Our own fabrication shop. Our own heavy fleet. Our own concrete and civil crews. Precision installation millwrights who can set a machining center to the tolerance on the OEM's drawing. When one company owns the whole sequence, the sequence stops slipping.

The other half of it is size. There is a band of work that falls between what a plant's own maintenance department can handle and what is worth a major contractor mobilizing for — the three-day emergency fabrication, the single machine that has to be set to a thousandth, the scope that needs a welder, an excavator and a concrete crew but only two weeks of each. Those jobs get declined or slow-walked by shops built for scale. They are the ones we built this company around.

We are based on the Gulf Coast, but we do not draw a line on a map. Work has taken us to west Texas, to Oklahoma, and a hundred miles offshore. If the job makes sense, the distance is a logistics problem, not a reason to say no.
